Reasons for receiving a "Chi- Nei- Tsang (Internal Organ Chi Massage)"

Severe menstrual cramps, heavy bleeding each cycle, mid-cycle pain, anxiety problems, occasional depression (especially postpartum), and insomnia. Inflammatory pain all over body, weight gain. 

Impressions of the treatment​​​

The massage sessions start with a hot herbal compress/rub to prepare the stomach area. The main massage became with a specific pattern of hitting deep pressure points. Afterward I was exhausted and had to go to bed early. I could tell that I had a lot of blockages within, and that my body was working hard to clear it.

Sometimes Eiko-san would comment saying, "Oh, this spot is very hard", indicating there were some associated emotional blockages or issues there, for example, "guilt issues", etc. I was so surprised to learn that this was partly an emotional therapy also. Fortunately, each session thereafter was significantly less painful, so I could experience immediate improvement. In my last session (The 3rd time), I didn't have any pain, just some slight discomfort if there was a spot that needed freeing up. 

Therapeutic effect of the treatment

I experienced an immediate reduction from pain level 10 to 2 during my monthly cycle! This was the most amazing part. Additionally, I was able to start exercising again because I had more energy and much, much less inflammatory pain. I coupled this therapy with a diet and exercise regimen and lost a lot of weight. My anxiety and postpartum depression cleared as well. 

I experienced a state of mind that I cannot remember having previously, feeling very clear and calm, and happier. I'm so grateful to Eiko-san and this treatment, which I had never heard until then. I would recommend it to anyone, as I understand all health and emotional problems can be addressed. Although a few years have passed since my last treatment, I’m still enjoying its benefits. (K.H.
